About the osteopath...

Rayner (she/her) graduated with an Integrated Masters degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Maidstone, renowned for it's exceptional clinical & educational standards, as well as holding qualifications in Holistic, Sports & Indian Head Massage, Dry Needling (acupuncture) and Dry Cupping. This means that in practice she is able to draw upon an extensive toolbox of treatment approaches, ranging from osteopathic manipulation (‘clicking’), cupping & massage to gentle articulation, acupuncture & cranial in order to tailor an individual treatment plan to suit you.

Rayner loves her job and enjoys that each clinical day brings a whole spectrum of people.
From dancers to bricklayers, runners to office workers and school children to elderly gardeners, her ethos is that everyone should be supported in achieving their best, pain-free potential.

Before osteopathy, Rayner worked in various office roles, including a European transport company, and as a result knows exactly what a desk based job does to your body.
She also worked at a garden centre and knows what lugging around bags of compost all day does to it too!

Rayner has lived in Corringham, Essex since birth and decided upon a career as a manual therapist at the age of 11, dreaming of being the England and Arsenal FC physio owing to her passion for sports.
However, osteopathy was affirmed as her vocation in life after receiving treatments for injuries sustained through competitive Karate & Ju-jitsu, for which she holds black belts in both.

Outside of clinic, she still practices karate and also enjoys yoga & ballroom/latin dancing and volunteering for Essex Guinea Pig, Rat & Rabbit Rescue.

She quotes that the biggest lessons learned in clinical practice so far are that ‘people look after their cars better than they do their bodies’ and ‘Rest is rust, Motion is lotion!’
