SUBSEQUENT SESSIONS

Subsequent sessions are 30-minutes in length and treatment focused.
Tests will be performed at the beginning to monitor your progress after a brief chat to see how you've been feeling since the previous session.

Patients often ask, ‘How many treatments will I need?’

Each individual patient’s body responds differently to manual therapy, and so a time scale is difficult to predetermine.

The number of sessions required depends on a variety of factors, including the nature of the complaint, how long it has been present and the willingness of the patient to embrace advised exercises & rest.

Patients with on-going issues caused by lifestyle & work habits, such as multi-screen desk set ups, manual handling, breast feeding and sports to name but a few, often opt for maintenance appointments every 6-8 weeks but this is part of a long-term management plan decided as part of a Patient-Practioner partnership.
